Judy Menefee
From Silver City, New Mexico, grew up surrounded by the Mimbres pots that are the inspiration for her work. She hand-forms her jewelry and wall pieces from porcelain clay, each one drawn from Mimbres designs that she has collected. Her work honors the connection to this ancient culture’s relationship to nature, humor, and ceremony.
